Academics
Knowledge is Light
Academics
A balanced, values-led curriculum that carries students from Kindergarten through Class VIII.
Academic Programme
Our Academic Programme is designed to cultivate intellectual curiosity, strong character, creativity, and lifelong learning. While we follow a structured curriculum aligned with recognized educational standards, we believe that meaningful education extends beyond textbooks. Our approach combines academic excellence with innovation, critical thinking, moral values, digital literacy, and student well-being, ensuring that every learner is equipped to thrive in an ever-changing world.
The school currently follows the Indian National Curriculum, delivering a structured and comprehensive educational programme that establishes strong academic foundations while promoting holistic development. As part of our long-term strategic vision, Sanabel Al Noor International Schools Co. is actively pursuing CBSE affiliation and is exploring future opportunities for internationally recognised educational pathways to further enhance learning opportunities for our students.
Our Framework
Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed to ensure that students receive a well-rounded education that develops knowledge, practical skills, critical thinking, communication, creativity, and responsible citizenship. Learning experiences are carefully planned to encourage intellectual curiosity while promoting moral values, cultural understanding, and respect for diversity.
The curriculum integrates academic learning with co-curricular activities, technology, collaborative projects, and experiential learning opportunities that prepare students for the challenges of an ever-evolving global society.
Stages of Learning
Early Years (Pre-KG – UKG)
The Early Years Programme provides a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where young learners develop strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, communication, creativity, and social skills through play-based and activity-oriented learning.
Primary School (Grades I – V)
The Primary Programme focuses on strengthening core academic skills while encouraging curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and independent thinking. Students are guided to become confident learners through interactive classroom experiences and practical activities.
Middle School (Grades VI – VIII)
The Middle School Programme prepares students for higher academic challenges by promoting analytical thinking, problem-solving, research skills, leadership, and personal responsibility. Students are encouraged to apply knowledge across disciplines while developing confidence and independence.
How Learning Progresses
Educational Stages
I. Kindergarten
Children are taught English, Mathematics, Science, Arabic, Hindi and Urdu. Talents in Art, Craft, Singing, and Dramatics are developed alongside academics.
To strengthen the psychomotor domain, children engage in activities such as paper folding and fitting blocks to insets — laying the foundation for good handwriting. At this stage, children are also introduced to the experience of interacting within a peer group.
II. Primary and Secondary Level
These sections support the all-round development of a child’s personality, with equal stress on academics and values. Students are encouraged to comprehend and apply rather than memorize, to enjoy learning, build regular study habits, and think independently with logic and reason.
Subjects taught include English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, EVS, Social Science, Computer Science, Art and Craft, Physical Education, Saudi Arabian Culture, Islamic Studies, Moral Science, and Life Skills.
